True BBQ Essence
Barked Barbecue is a small-batch BBQ project based in West Texas and the Lubbock area, created by fiancé duo Sage and Kobe.

Sage is an audiologist in West Texas who brings her love of baking to the kitchen. She prepares the homemade sides, fresh breads, and desserts that complement the barbecue.
Kobe has worked in the restaurant industry for over five years. With his food handling certification and a strong passion for barbecue, he runs the smoker and focuses on cooking meats low and slow in true Texas BBQ fashion.

Together, they combine smoked meats, homemade sides, and baked desserts to create simple, flavorful barbecue for friends, family, and the local community.

The name Barked Barbecue was inspired by their four dogs — Oby, Gemma, Char, and Opal — who are always nearby supervising every cook. Around here, they’re known as the official pit crew.
Barked Barbecue proudly serves the Lubbock and Wolfforth area, sharing a love for backyard barbecue, good food, and bringing people together.
